Path to Permanency was inspired by love for that little girl—and a deep belief that no child in foster care should ever wait years for a forever home.

That’s why we’re building a movement to reform the foster care system in Mecklenburg County. We’re using the power of people organizing— bringing together foster parents, social workers, GALs, advocates, elected leaders, and those with lived experience—to hold systems accountable and fight for every child’s right to timely permanency.
