About the Event
This assembly is a vital opportunity to engage in the essential practice of storytelling. Led by Cailyn Nolan, CPCC communications professor who spent half her childhood in foster care before aging out, will lead a hands-on training on how to write and effectively tell your story, focusing on leveraging the power of our individual narratives for collective change. Learn how your unique perspective can shape our understanding, empower action, and illuminate the path to timely permanency for Mecklenburg County foster children. Our stories will build into a targeted email campaign to county and state leaders and a thoughtful media campaign to our broader community.
There is power in being together! Dinner and childcare is provided. Your presence and voice are crucial. Please confirm your attendance so we can plan accordingly.
If you cannot make this event, but are still interested in participating in the email campaign, please RSVP accordingly.
