About the Event
Community Organizing is about a group of diverse individuals in a community moving towards a common goal together. We will begin with a public meeting with our local Mecklenburg leaders around the use of Permanency Planning Reviews (PPRs) in documenting and communicating case progress. Then we will break for dinner (in-person) and resume with an internal discussion and vote on how to move forward.
Join us, in-person or virtually, as we continue to equip our base in the areas of community organizing and work in unison towards the goal of foster care reform in Mecklenburg County.
There is power in being together! Dinner and childcare is provided to those who are able to attend in-person.
