About the Event
We will begin with a short introduction on Path to Permanency and our goals followed by small group discussions of how foster care has impacted you and ideas you have to shorted the length of cases in Mecklenburg county to the federal Adoption and Safe Families Act (ASFA) standards. We will summarize the brainstormed ideas and then vote on them as a group. We will narrow down to approximately 3 top issues. Each priority issue will be assigned a research team to take us to the next level and you will have the opportunity to volunteer and join a team that interests you.
