About the Event
Children in foster care deserve safe, loving, permanent families without unnecessary delay. On February 24, Path to Permanency is heading to the North Carolina General Assembly to talk with legislators about the issues that shape how quickly children reach permanency.
Come stand with foster, kinship, and adoptive families, youth, and professionals as we take the case for timely permanency straight to our lawmakers. Your story matters. Your presence ensures it’s heard.
No experience is needed. You bring your voice, and we will help you prepare.
Our specific asks will be shaped by our community. We will decide them together at upcoming P2P meetings, including our community gathering on November 15, so come help set the agenda.
Getting there: P2P will arrange group transportation to Raleigh the night before, with a hotel stay, and will drive home together after the event on Wednesday. Prefer to travel on your own or join just…
